….basting that is…thread basting. I just have one last quarter to do, then go around the quilt….so long to do!
….when you come to visit, we can share! In the meantime….
Well, what are going to make first! I really want to have a go at felting!
So, I am adding this one inch border and a three inch border (the orange in the quilt)…Do you think 3 inches is too large?
I’ve been visiting the blogs in the Canadian Blogothon! Tomorrow is Quebec’s turn! 🙂
I am also linking up to The Needle and Thread Network for some more Canadian content!
And you really have to go check out my friend Jen’s blog….she is trying her hand out at dying wool.
I have the six strips sewn…now to sew them all together!
A few pics of fun!
Working REAL hard here Jen! 😉 Finally!
Thank you to the hostess with the mostest! Finally she sat down and worked on her hexagons just for her! I really enjoyed myself Jen. Thanks so much, from the tourtière to the sewing table, to the design wall, tea and your assistance to backing up in your driveway!
The flowerpots are ready, now onto the embroidery! I was supposed to put rickrack under the rims of the flowerpots but I didn’t have any, so embroidery it is.
I’m helping my son with his homework:
He is in kinesiologyand he has an exam on taping tomorrow…I am the test case…great because I have had problems with my plantar faciitis (sp).
I’m linking up to The Needle and Thread Network…now to get back to sewing!
