Which means advent calendar. I made this at least 18 years ago…stayed up stitching into the wee hours of the morning because I wanted my boys, then 3 & 5 to hang the toy ornaments on the first of December. They did and have done so since. I loved the french knots the most. This was counted cross stitch.

I used a variegated “Wildflower” thread by Caron. I really like the shading effect, more realistic for the greenery.

Now onto the third one! 🙂 They are coming along fast. I can’t wait to embellish then put them all together with the material. Even the machine quilting will be easy. I may want to keep this!
Block #1 of a gift..
Maybe a little lopsided but I will correct it with some more greenery if necessary. I still have to embellish the pot and outline it….now onto block #2.
