December 11 and clue #2

I started clue #2 last night…for Bonnie’s Grand Illusion. I tried two methods but I prefer the method that gives me bonus hst.

Strip method and cutting on the 45 degree angle line. Liked it but 1/4 inch seam goes too small when I go over the seams 😦

I followed Bonnie Hunter’s method and my bonus blocks are made already!

Here are my efforts!

Tonight I will prep a few strips and then dig into a few mug rug gifts!
